**** CLASS UPDATE – Jan 6th ****

In the interest of safety, due to the weather and road conditions we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow’s class. We hate to do it (especially for our first class back) but safety comes first. Please look after yourselves out there and if you do have to venture out try to check the conditions of the routes you are taking as best as you can online first, and make sure you are prepared for your journey in case the weather continues to sweep in:
Keep a blanket and warm layers in your cars just in case.
If you have a snow shovel (a hand shovel, or even a coal shovel will do if you’re short on space) keep one in your boot in case you need to dig yourself out.
Make sure your phone is charged up, and if you have a portable charging bank perhaps have one of those to hand too.
Non-perishable snacks. You never know.
And one that is often overlooked is a pair of sensible footwear. Yes, we love our cowboy boots and dance trainers, but have something you can walk through the snow in just in case you need to. We saw a couple out last night (or rather found them stuck in the snow) and unfortunately a pair of heels just isn’t compatible with deep snow.
We’ll see you back in class next Tuesday (Jan 13th) at our usual time of 6-8pm at Brymbo Sports and Social Complex.
